Roma Captain Totti: The Scudetto Is Possible
'Er Pupone' is aiming high as talk of the Scudetto returns to Trigoria.
Roma captain Francesco Totti believes the Scudetto is a realistic target if the club makes some adjustments during the transfer window.
"[Gian Paolo] Montali said it would take two years for the Scudetto? We have a fascinating and ambitious project here. Nothing is impossible," Totti told Romanews.eu.
"The team has quality, but to aim for the Scudetto, we need three or four players. One for each department."
It's no secret Roma have been searching for a striker. The idea of a new partner has brought Totti to his feet.
"I would welcome a new forward, a strong one at that. Everyone knows what I think. The more champions we have in the team, the better it is," he added.
Roma's new found enthusiasm has been down to Ranieri. 'Er Pupone' is in no mood to sit back, claiming the coach can deliver success.
"Ranieri has brought charisma to the squad. It's what we needed; personality and belief in our qualities. I like this Roma more and more now," he concluded.
