Roma captain Francesco Totti has sparked the game against Sampdoria into life, claiming Antonio Cassano will fear him on Sunday night.

Roma are hoping to continue their positive climb up the table in a sharp contrast with the Blucerchiati who have lost their last two games.

"Am I scared of playing against Cassano? He will be the one who has the fear, I think," Totti told Sky Sport Italia during the club's Christmas party.

'Er Pupone' and his side have enjoyed a sweet return to form after a gloomy start in Serie A. Totti assured that he was always aware they would turn fortunes around as he reflects on the upshot of hard work.

"The team is very tranquil. I always knew that we would start to climb in the league," he concluded.
