Marchisio: Juventus Cannot Make Any More Mistakes
The Italian international is dismayed after another defeat for the Bianconeri.
Juventus have fallen eight points behind Inter in the Scudetto race after losing 2-0 to Cagliari on Sunday.
Midfielder Claudio Marchisio made his first start in Serie A in over a month as he was out injured and says that he and his team-mates cannot afford any more mistakes if they are to challenge for the title.
"We always seem to wake up only after conceding a goal this cannot happen and we must improve a lot," he was quoted as saying by Juventus Channel.
"The coach asked us to apply certain tactics in training this week, warning that Cagliari were dangerous. However, the Rossoblu did well to put us in difficulty.
"We ran a lot but not in a productive way and were unable to retrieve the ball quickly. It's a poor period for us, we must understand what is not working."
Juventus also lost to Bordeaux in midweek in Champions League action and some have speculated that coach Ciro Ferrara's position is now under threat.
