Galloppa: Cassano Only Has Himself To Blame For Italy Rejection

Antonio Cassano's support from within the Azzurri camp is decreasing by the hour.

Italy midfielder Daniele Galloppa has no sympathy for Antonio Cassano, claiming the striker only has himself to blame for being frozen out of the squad.

The Cassano question is an interminable one in Casa Azzurri. It appears the 'Talentino di Bari' is unwelcome in Marcello Lippi's group.

Even the new faces like Galloppa have shown a lack of support for the hitman, with strong arm tactics being used to push him further away from South Africa.

"There is too much talk about Cassano. If he is not picked for Italy then that's his own fault," Galloppa told the press in Cesena.

Galloppa showed a different approach in relation to Amauri though as he hailed the Juventus forward.

"Amauri is a great player. His inclusion in the Italy squad could spark off a chain reaction."
