With AC Milan's 2-1 win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico, many pundits have suggested that the Rossoneri are back in the title race, having cut the gap to city rivals Inter to seven points and coach Leonardo agrees with them.

"Scudetto? It is a word that has always been in our vocabulary, let's see if it is possible this season," he said to Tuttosport.

Milan started the 2009-10 campaign in lackluster fashion, but have turned things around since the start of October and are in excellent shape at the moment.

"Each game we have added something else - as if we were a puzzle," he continued.

"There is some regret for the defeats we suffered at the start, but we have humility and must continue to grow."

Milan host in-form Cagliari at San Siro when Serie A resumes following the international break.
