Promoted side Bari continued their impressive start to the season as they defeated relegation candidates Livorno 1-0 at home. The only goal of the match was scored as early as the sixth minute when Riccardo Allegretti scored from a free-kick.

Parma consolidated their position in the top half of the Serie A table after a 2-0 win against Chievo. A 41st minute goal from Cristian Zaccardo saw the hosts take the lead and then in the 72nd minute Davide Lanzafame ascertained all three points for the hosts.
