Inter Chief Massimo Moratti: Now We Can Beat Barcelona
Moratti has praised coach Jose Mourinho, who he believes was the catalyst behind Wednesday evening's remarkable success over Dynamo Kiev. He has faith the Portuguese can mastermind a similar victory against Barca.
Inter president Massimo Moratti is confident his side can defeat Barcelona when they meet in the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri are top of Group F following their win over Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday. Qualification is not yet assured, but it will be if they beat the Blaugrana at Camp Nou in late November.
Moratti is delighted with the Nerazzurri's first European win in over a year. He believes his team can hold their own against the champions.
"The game against Kiev was a show of great character and we won thanks to [coach] Jose Mourinho, who made the right changes," Moratti told the press.
"Now we have to go to Barcelona and win. I think the team is capable of doing that."
