Inter striker Samuel Eto'o scored a brace on Thursday evening to help his side beat Palermo 5-3 in a roller coaster encounter at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in the 10th matchday of the Italian top flight.

The goals took Eto'o's tally for the season up to five in nine games played, all of which have been scored in front of his home crowd. He is, however, promising to get his first goal away from home soon.

"It seemed like a comfortable game, we risked, but let's take the positive aspect of the evening, which is the result," commented the former Barcelona player to fcinternews.it.

"I hope that tonight's lesson will serve us, so the next time we score four goals we shall be more careful about our opponent's comeback.

"Now I hope that the next goal arrives away from home, but what matters is to win and if I don't score it doesn't matter. Some other striker will score for me," unintentionally sounding like the world's laziest footballer.

"The team is more important than me, but I will soon score my first goal away from home."

Inter now take on the resurgent Livorno on Sunday afternoon, hoping to maintain or even increase their four-point lead over Juventus.
