The Chilean international was said to be very disappointed when the club decided to part ways with Spalletti, however his agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, has declared that all is well between the player and the new coach in the capital, Claudio Ranieri.
“It is obvious that the coach holds him in high regard,” the agent stressed to Romagiallorossa.com.
“We are delighted with this though, as it is not always easy with a new coach, especially considering my client’s relationship with Spalletti.
“David is a player who will always give his all to the team, and one who can make a big difference.”
The agent closed out the interview, by making reference to a comment that Ranieri made concerning an injury suffered by Pizarro against Fulham midweek.
He added, “There are no problems there. He had a little bit of soreness, but if it was too severe, he wouldn’t have played. Apparently the problem has now been overcome.”
