Brazilian forward Julio Baptista is not leaving Roma for Sevilla, according to his agent Herminio Menendez.

The 28-year-old has been frequently linked with a move away from the Giallorossi after a disappointing first season, but Menendez insists that he is fully focused on his recovery from injury.

"Everything is going as planned, his recovery is going well," the agent told Calciomercato.it.

"Is he available for Milan? I don't know, that depends on the Roma medical staff. Julio is a bit concerned, but injuries are part of football and I think he'll be back playing soon.

"I can exclude the possibility [of a transfer]. Julio is doing very well in Rome, he is happy there and is only thinking about Roma and the next World Cup.

"We have not had any contact from Sevilla or any other club. He has a great relationship with [Claudio] Ranieri, he feels very comfortable with the coach."
