Inter coach Jose Mourinho has been slapped with a one-match suspension following his outburst against the fourth official during the Nerazzurri's 2-1 win over Cagliari on Sunday.
The decision which has been confirmed by the Lega Calcio comes after sports judge Gianpaolo Tosel analyzed the referee's report on the incident. Mourinho was furious with the decision not to send off Davide Astori for a second bookable offense.
The officials felt the coach took his protests too far, and he was shown his marching orders.
The Lega Calcio have confirmed that a ban and a €15,000 fine has been handed out. It's a decision that will see Mourinho watch from the stands during this Wednesday's clash against Napoli.
Meanwhile, Roma have been fined after fans set off 18 fireworks in the Olimpico's curva sud during the 3-1 win over Fiorentina.
