England Manager Capello: Inter Are Built To Win The Champions League

The Three Lions tactician believes Jose Mourinho's men are capable of making a splash on the continental stage.

England manager Fabio Capello has tipped Inter to do well in this season's Champions League, claiming they are "built" to win the prestigious tournament.

"They must win the Champions League, they are made to win the Champions League and will be really competitive," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Meanwhile, he discussed the summer transfer swap between the Nerazzurri and Barcelona, that saw strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto'o switch clubs, along with €40 million going to the Italian side.

"[The clubs] only change the way their style of play. When Eto'o went to Real [Madrid] and 'Ibra' to Madrid they would have been exchanged at par."

He then was asked to comment on AC Milan, who have endured a difficult start to the season and are tipped by some pundits to have a mediocre 2009-10 campaign.

"Milan are under construction. [Coach] Leonardo needs time to put his team in place," he continued.

"[Transfers] are a problem for the club, you'll have to ask them."

The 63-year-old won the Champions League while in charge of the Rossoneri in the 1993-94 season.
