Tonight Milan made the start they hoped for in Serie A, beating Siena 2-1 away from home. The hero of the night was starlet Alexandre Pato, who scored a brace, and talked about the match afterwards to Sky Sports.

"I have to thank the team, who played a great match, helping me a lot," the 19-year-old said. "These goals are all for my team, I played for Milan, for the coach, and for the whole team."

On Ronaldinho, who provided Pato with two fine assists, he said, "Everyone talks about him, but he's great, he's the number one, he gives the strikers many great balls to score, we are very happy because he's coming back and playing with him is easy."

Asked if the Milan of Pato and Ronaldinho will also play next weekend against Inter, the youngster said: "It will just be Milan, we are here to work, I am a Milan player and I play for my team."

Inter will be under pressure to answer Milan's victory in tomorrow's home match against Bari, one week ahead of the derby.
