A.C. Milan will face off against David Beckham and the L.A. Galaxy tonight in Los Angeles, with David Beckham at home for the first time this season against the team he spent the winter with in Italy.

But Beckham is not the only player missing from Milan’s squad as they begin preparations for next season. Also absent will be Brazilian star Kaka, who was sold to Real Madrid, and American defender Oguchi Onyewu who will join up with the squad in Atlanta later this week.

At training yesterday midfielder Clearence Seedorf spoke about Kaka leaving as well as the match against Beckham’s Galaxy.

“The fans suffered the loss of Kaka, I think, more than those who were inside and understand these things,” the 33-year-old said. “Kaka is a great player, but we didn't win a title with Kaka.”

As for their meeting with Beckham and the Galaxy, Seedorf was ready for a tough match but expected that his side would come out on top.

“The players who play against AC Milan always have a lot of desire to do well against us,” he said. “I expect the players to have that will to do their best and make it an important game, a physical game. We don't think we're going to win easily, but we always plan to win.”

Still, the Dutch international didn’t seem overly concerned with the Galaxy’s talent level.

“Honestly, I don't know any of the other players besides Beckham,” he told reporters.

Rumors in the past have pointed to a move to the United States in the future for the talented center mid, but when asked about the possibility Seedorf said he knew nothing about it. Still, the Milan man would not rule out the possibility of a future move.

“I don't know about playing in MLS one day,” he said. “I have a contract with Milan right now, but anything is possible.”

It will be a packed week for the Rossoneri who will face L.A. on Sunday before facing off with Club America on Tuesday in Atlanta. The Italians will finish off their American tour with matches against Chelsea on Friday in Baltimore and a Milan derby match against rivals Inter in Boston a week from today.
