The Giallorossi have been linked with Julio Cruz, but Spalletti did not want to confirm or deny this speculation.

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti spoke about the Giallorossi's dealings in the transfer market, which so far have been relatively quiet, except for being linked to former Inter player Julio Cruz.

However, Spalletti reassured the Giallorossi fans that sooner or later there will be movement and more players will be joining the team in order to strengthen it for the upcoming season.

"Cruz is a good player, just like all the other names who have been mentioned so far," declared the former Udinese coach to the Corriere dello Sport.

"I'm convinced that Roma will go in the transfer market, will make some moves, either incoming our outgoing, and consequently more will come out, considering what will happen.

"However, right now we have to wait, finding out the right thing to do and then wait for someone who wants to take away some players, as has happened in the past."

So far Roma have signed just one player during this transfer market, winger Stefano Guberti from Bari, who is highly rated by Spalletti.
