Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler has, once again, been tipped to leave the club and move to the Premier League, but his agent Dino Lamberti has revealed that the player wants to stay in Serie A.

The Swiss international has attracted plenty of attention from European clubs, in particular from England, and the voices surrounding a potential move to Arsenal are growing louder.

"There are always teams that call me about Inler, but all the interest is then turned to president [Giampaolo] Pozzo," Lamberti told Calciomercato.it.

"It would be difficult to see Inler leaving Udinese, but there are several teams from the Premier League who are interested in him.

"However, I spoke to the player and he wants to stay on. If a club does come along and pays what Udinese want then we will see what happens, but Inler would not want to be a second choice."
