Manchester City are apparently ready to make a move for Inter full-back Maicon.

The Sky Blues will reportedly offer €22 million to the Italian club, as well as their midfielder Elano, who is highly rated by coach Jose Mourinho.

Maicon has also been followed by Chelsea and Real Madrid, but, according to Eurosport.it, Man City are so far the only club who have made an offer to sporting director Marco Branca for Maicon.

Apparently, the Nerazzurri are currently evaluating this bid, even though the Maicon's has stated that he wants to join a team playing in the Champions League.

It is expected that Inter will now wait to see if there are any other offers coming their way before taking a final decision on Maicon's future.
