Report: Jose Mourinho Rejects Manchester City Offer

The Special One is in high demand.

Inter boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly turned down a money-making offer to succeed Mark Hughes at Manchester City.

The self-proclaimed 'Special One' took the reins of Inter in June following the sacking of Roberto Mancini but he has been under pressure of late after failing to guide the club to European success.

Mourinho, who has refused to comment on his future at Inter, is believed to be Florentino Perez's first choice to be installed as coach should he win Real Madrid's presidential election in June.

Interest in Mourinho's services is also believed to come from England, with Manchester City being strongly linked with a bid for the former Chelsea boss as they plan to mount a serious title challenge next term.

But according to news daily A BOLA, Mourinho has rejected a lucrative €12million-a-year contract from the Abu Dhabi-controlled club.

If Inter defeat Siena tomorrow night then they will be crowned champions, which will be Mourinho's 14th title in just nine years of coaching.
