Brazilian striker Adriano has re-joined his former club Flamengo.
The 27-year-old had recently torn up his contract with Inter, and announced he was taking a sabbatical from football as he was allegedly suffering from depression.
However, his absence from football has been sort-lived as he has officially joined the Brazilian outfit on Wednesday, according to the Flamengo official website.
No financial details or the length of the contract have been revealed, but there is a press conference scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
The Brazilian international, nicknamed 'The Emperor', began his career with Flamengo back in 2000, before transferring to Inter the following year. His last couple of seasons with the Italian club had been plagued by inconsistency and disciplinary issues.
