Kaka: Milan Have Regrets After Roma Draw
The Rossoneri failed to hold on to a 2-1 lead against the Giallorossi, and their Brazilian playmaker admitted it was disappointing to only claim one point.
Milan midfielder Kaka analysed his team's game against Roma which ended in a 2-2 result on Sunday evening at the Olimpico stadium.
For Kaka this was a missed opportunity considering the Rossoneri squandered a 2-1 lead which could have allowed them to win three precious points.
"It was a nice match, too bad because we could have won," declared the Brazilian star at the end of the game.
"We played a great second half and there's a bit of regret because we were winning 2-1.
"We saw a good team, if there is a bit of sacrifice from all of us we will be able to do well even with a more offensive formation. Every player sacrificed themselves to help the defense."
Kaka also had words of praise for his young compatriot, Alexandre Pato, who scored both Milan's goals.
"Pato did very well, his second goal was very good and he is learning a lot. He's already a great player and I think he will improve even more," the 26-year-old said.
Milan remain third in the standings, still nine points behind Internazionale.
