Roma Have Injury Worries Before Milan Match
Roma have several injury worries ahead of their pivotal Serie A match against AC Milan on Sunday.
Roma's season has been a very extreme one. At first, the Giallorossi were doing very badly, but then they had a fantastic run of results to get them back on track.
The club have also seen plenty of injuries hinder their side this season. It is certain that captin Francesco Totti will be out of action for some time, but he is not the only injury worry for Lucaino Spalletti.
With a high-profile match at the Stadio Olimpico against Milan coming up, the presence of Alberto Aquilani, Julio Baptista, and David Pizarro are also in doubt.
Aquilani has been suffring from injury for the last couple months, it was assumed the rest over the Serie A winter break would see him ready to take on Milan, but he will probably be ruled out.
Baptista is dealing with muscle inflamation, but club doctors are hopeful the swelling will go down and the Rome derby winner will be able to take on the Rossoneri.
Pizarro has had some pain in the muscles surrounding his knee and the Chilean is unlikely to play on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Menez and Rodrigo Taddei underwent physcial therapy on Monday, but both are expected to at least be on the bench at the Stadio Olimpico.
