Hernán Crespo's agent is set to hold talks with Real Madrid after flying into the Spanish capital to hear what is on offer and negotiate a lengthy contract, according to a report.

The 33-year-old striker is Los Merengues' number one target in their quest to add a striker to their ranks during the winter transfer window in January.
After Ruud van Nistelrooy was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, the club's need to sign a new goalscorer became even more urgent.
Crespo's name was one of the first to be put forward in a meeting between president Ramón Calderón, spotring director Predrag Mijatovic and technical secretary Miguel Ángel Portugal.
Now, the player's representative, Fernando Hidalgo, will fly to Madrid on Wednesday to hold talks with Mijatovic to liten to what the Spanish champions have to offer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Madrid are mooting the idea of a contract until the end of the season, but Crespo wants a deal that will keep him at the Bernabéu until 2010, so that he does not have to uproot for just six months.
A compromise may be found, or even the longer deal agreed to, such is Madrid's desire to wrap up a deal without the fuss and embarrassment of having to barter through the media.
Calderón wants a smooth deal done amid the war of words between he and former president Florentino Pérez that has heated up between the two former friends this week.
