Going To Seed
UEFA revealed the seeds for qualifying for the 2012 Euro Championship, to be held in Poland and Ukraine. The draw will take place on February 7 next year in Warsaw. The usual favorites are in Pot 1, while Euro debutants Montenegro are in Pot 5, just above the continent's minnows.

Striker Search
Finding a worthwhile striker is sticky business. For Marcello Lippi, he may turn to one of the ancient duo of Alex Del Piero and Francisco Totti in the wake of his refusal to call up Antonio Cassano. Liverpool is busy scrounging through the bargain bin, and Raul might retire.

Not-So Top 10
The shortlist for the famed, "Bidone d'Oro," or the 'Golden Bin' award has been released by the powers that be in Italy. Given yearly to the worst player in the country, this year's contenders range from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Felipe Melo to last year's winner, Ricardo Quaresma

Returning To Roma
It hasn't been the best season for Roma so far this campaign, but they should be buoyed by the news that captain and star player, Francesco Totti will be returning to the line-up. To add to that, holding midfielder extraordinaire Daniele De Rossi should also be back in the line-up this weekend.

English Dreams
Former Inter Milan head coach Roberto Mancini has restated his desire to one day manage a team in the English Premier League. Out of a job for over a year now, the Italian has apparently been looking to get back into the game with England his main target. He also sheds light on Antonio Cassano.

For The Future
Inter Milan's outspoken boss Jose Mourinho has recently said that he is building his team for the future, despite reports suggesting that the Portuguese gaffer has designs on returning to the English Premier League one day. He has been previously touted as a potential successor to Sir Alex Ferguson.

The New Deal
With January looming, teams are trying to lock down some of their biggest players with Manchester United leading the way. The Red Devils are trying to re-up goalie Edwin van der Sar, while Inter Milan want to tie down full-back Maicon. In Rome, Philippe Mexes is in line for a raise.
