Manchester United's Phil Jones out for two weeks with knee injury

The Red Devils confirmed the versatile 21-year-old is set for another spell on the sidelines, though Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher returned to the squad to face Hull.
Manchester United defender-midfielder Phil Jones has been ruled out of action for two weeks with a knee injury.

The 21-year-old has struggled with fitness concerns this season, including ankle damage in September and hip and groin injuries during November.

Jones had, however, started and finished United's last seven games in all competitions before Thursday's 3-2 win over Hull City, but the club on its Twitter account revealed he will now miss the next two weeks after damaging his knee in training.

Jones had been used in midfield of late, with Moyes struggling with injuries elsewhere in his squad, but the club has been boosted by the return of Michael Carrick and long-term absentee Darren Fletcher.
