Tony Pulis' first match as the manager of Crystal Palace ended in a 1-0 defeat away to fellow Premier League struggler Norwich.

Gary Hooper struck his second league goal of the season in the first half which saw both sides strike the woodwork via Johan Elmander and Barry Bannan respectively.

Palace pressed forward after the break to find an equalizer but Chris Hughton's men held on to record a crucial home win.
