Goal reported in November that the Germany international suffered a grade-three hamstring tear with the muscle completely separating in his left leg. Podolski picked up the injury during Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Fenerbahce on Aug. 27 and is targeting a return to action against Everton on Dec. 8.
Arsene Wenger’s side was training ahead of its Champions League fixture against Marseille on Tuesday. Arsenal currently sits atop Group F, level on nine points with Napoli, and three clear of last season’s runner-up Borussia Dortmund.
