TEAM NEWS: Suarez starts for Liverpool against Manchester United

The forward has completed his suspension and returned to Liverpool's starting lineup.
Luis Suarez is starting for Liverpool in the Capital One Cup clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Uruguayan is making his return from a 10-game suspension, incurred in April for biting Chelsea defender Branislav.

Daniel Sturridge joins the 26-year-old in attack with support from Victor Moses, while captain Steven Gerrard gets the start in midfield along with Lucas Leiva, Jordan Henderson, and Jose Enrique in a new-look 3-4-1-2 formation from Brendan Rodgers.

Summer signings Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho form the back line with Martin Skrtel in front of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

Wayne Rooney leads out United as captain in the center of an attacking midfield trident flanked by Shinji Kagawa and Nani, with Chicharito Hernandez assuming the lone striker role ahead.

Phil Jones and Ryan Giggs anchor the midfield for David Moyes' side, while Rafael returns from injury to slot into the defense with Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, and Alex Buttner.
