Tottenham has confirmed that Jermaine Jenas has extended his loan deal with Nottingham Forest, and he will remain at the City Ground for a further two months.
The midfielder initially returned to his former club on a one-month loan in September, in an effort to get his career back on track following a six-month spell on the sidelines with a ruptured Achilles. The former England international has been used mainly as a substitute during his spell in the League Championship, but he has seemingly impressed Forest boss Sean O'Driscoll.
The 29-year-old scored an audacious chip in the 4-1 victory over Barnsley last Saturday, and he can now look forward to an extended stay in his home town.
Jenas will now be available for selection for the match against Millwall at the weekend, when seventh-placed Forest will look to extend its five-match unbeaten run and break into the playoff places.
