'It's too close to home', says 35-year-oldLA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham insists that he has no intention of making a loan move to Everton.
Toffees boss David Moyes had expressed a desire to bring in the 35-year-old on loan during the MLS off-season. But having considered the possibility playing at Goodison Park, the former Real Madrid man insists that he remains a Manchester United fan and will not transfer to the Merseyside club.
"It's always great to be wanted, whether it's on loan or a permanent deal," Beckham told Sky Sports News.
"I've got great respect for David Moyes having played for him at Preston. He's done an amazing job at Everton but I'm a Manchester United fan — it's too close to home."
