Manchester City's Balotelli To Undergo Knee Surgery In Italy On Thursday - Report

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli  will undergo an operation on his knee in a hospital in Pavia near Milan on Thursday, according to the latest reports emanating from the peninsula.

Sky Sport 24 claims that the Italy international will go under the knife to cure his knee problems. 'Super Mario' picked up the injury in City's match against FC Timisoara in a Europa League qualifier on August 19.

The 20-year-old is unlikely to make his Premier League home debut for the Citizens against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
