Craig Bellamy: I know What John Terry Is Like, And Nothing Surprises Me
Champions League is all that matters to City.
By Nick Price
Craig Bellamy has accused Chelsea captain John Terry of being untrustworthy in the wake of Manchester City's resounding victory at Stamford Bridge.
Bellamy netted twice as Roberto Mancini's side came back from behind in emphatic fashion to beat the league leaders 4-2.
Asked whether the John Terry saga had given the Welshman and his team-mates extra incentive to beat Chelsea, Bellamy told Sky Sports: "I know what JT is like, so nothing surprises me about him - I know I won't count on that guy, and I think everyone in football knows what the guy's like.
"That's off the field, but on it he's an outstanding player. A great captain for Chelsea, it's always difficult against him and his team - today is a big, big result for us."
Bellamy himself has courted controversy of late, but said that it was "business as usual" in the City dressing room.
"We're just trying to get this club to fourth spot," he said, "that's what we've settled on at the start of the season."
"With the quality of players we do have in the squad we have to finish fourth, anything else will be a very, very disappointing season.
"Every day we come in we try and work hard, at the end of the season we just want to be in the Champions League."
