Tim Howard Backs Landon Donovan For Success At Everton
Loan striker sure to be a hit at Goodison.
The versatile forward arrived on a ten-week loan from MLS outfit Los Angeles Galaxy last week and Howard feels he will provide the Toffees with a real attacking boost.
"In terms of the general standard, the critics are probably right to say the MLS doesn't match the Premier League. But Landon has shown he can play on the world stage time and time again," Howard told evertonTV.
"He will have no problem adapting to the Premier League, absolutely no problem. There are certain players that exceed the standard over in the States and Landon is one of them."
And it is Donovan's ball skill in particular that Howard feels will delight the Goodison Park faithful."He is a talented player, he has won so many player of the year awards and MVP's so he has been really, really good," Howard enthused.
"He is still only a young guy too at just 27.
"Landon will be fantastic for us. He possesses a lot of skill that will see him do really well at Goodison."
