Ashley Cole Wants To See New Faces At Chelsea In January
England man would like some new team-mates.
Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole is keen to see some January recruitment at Stamford Bridge after the club's transfer embargo was suspended pending judgement from the European Court of
Arbitration for Sport.
Cole stopped short of naming any specific stars he'd like to see plying their trade in west London though.
"Of course every club wants to see new players and at a club like Chelsea you know whoever comes in will be world-class," he told Sky Sports News.
"Of course you would love to see new players but it's not my money they're spending and it's not down to me. The squad's amazing as it is."
And Cole seems to believe that the quality already at the club might be sufficient to get the club through what could be a tricky January due to players' international commitments, though he is still excited at the prospect of some fresh faces.
"Of course we're going to miss the African guys when they go to the Cup of Nations [in January] and we've got players who can fill in," he added.
"But of course it'd always be nice to have new signings."
