Glen Johnson Withdraws From England Squad
Reds defender out of Samba clash.

Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson has been forced to withdraw from the England squad that takes on Brazil in a friendly on Saturday having picked up a slight knock during the Reds' 2-2 draw with Birmingham City on Monday.
The likes of David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Ashley Cole and David James are all out of contention and the latest news regarding Johnson will surely be greeted with dismay by Three Lions boss Fabio Capello.
Johnson had completed the full 90 minutes for Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Monday evening and it appears he is still suffering from the exertions of that particular fixture.
Having joined up with the rest of the England squad at Arsenal's London Colney training complex on Tuesday, the Press Association reports that the 25-year-old struggled with a routine recovery session and will therefore return to his club for treatment.
It is understood that Capello will stick with his current batch of players rather than calling up a replacement for Johnson as the Three Lions continue their preparations for World Cup 2010 with the glamor friendly against Dunga's Brazil in Qatar.
