Arsenal Striker Nicklas Bendtner To Undergo Surgery
Danish striker out for indeterminate period to resolve groin problem.
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is expected to undergo surgery this week.
The Dane, who limped out of his side's North London derby win over Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier League in October, will go under the knife to resolve a groin problem.
"I will have an examination on Tuesday and then go on to have surgery on Wednesday," Bendtner told Ekstrabladet.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had previously indicated that the player could be out for "four weeks at least".
It is now unclear when Bendtner could be available for first-team football.
