Report: Ferguson To Face Sanction Over Sunderland Ref Rant
Fergie could be in hot water after his latest outburst.

Sir Alex Ferguson is facing a fine and touch-line ban after his sensational verbal tirade against match referee Alan Wiley, according to The Daily Mirror.
The Manchester United boss launched his attack on Wiley after the 2-2 draw against Sunderland, claiming that the 49-year-old was “unfit”, “needed a rest”, "an indictment on the game", and did not add on the requisite amount of added time in the second half.
Wiley was said be "very upset" at Ferguson's comments, and the Premier League wants the Scot brought into line and charged with misconduct for his latest outburst.
A Premier League spokesman said: "The fitness of Select Group Match Officials is continually assessed throughout the season to ensure it is of the highest possible standard."
All referees on the Premier League roster have to pass certain physical tests before and during the season - including, for example, being able to sprint 40 meters in just over six seconds.
Ferguson has a history of outbursts against referees and was warned last year regarding his future conduct after criticising Martin Atkinson for failing to give United a penalty in the FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Portsmouth.
