Giggs: Man United Will Cope With Ronaldo Loss
The Welsh veteran does not think the Red Devils will suffer too much, now that that 'CR7' is 'CR9'.
Ryan Giggs has seen Manchester United recover from losing great players in the past, and he doesn't believe it will be any different after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.
Sir Alex Ferguson recently stated that it would be difficult to cope with Ronaldo's absence, but Giggs does not foresee too many problems.
He told The Sun, "Since I came into the team the likes of Bryan Robson, Mark Hughes, Eric Cantona, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Roy Keane and David Beckham have left the club.
"But that is what the manager is so good at - reshaping and re-energizing the team. Carlos and Cristiano were great players but we move on.
"As players it's like ships in the night. You just get on with it."
Giggs then hinted that United's strength was their flexibility, continuing, "The players the manager has brought in have just got used to playing any system.
"We've got that flexibility.
"With Valencia coming in it might be a bit more of a rigid 4-4-2 - but we will have to wait and see."
