Hull City Launch Bid For Fulham Forward Bobby Zamora
A "firm and substantial bid" has been made, says manager Phil Brown.
Hull City manager Phil Brown has confirmed the Tigers have made an offer for Fulham striker Bobby Zamora.
Both Brown and Hull chairman Paul Duffen made their interest in the Cottagers forward known this week as they move to strengthen their front line.
The City boss has now revealed an official bid has now been tabled, which could see Zamora leave Craven Cottage for the KC Stadium.
"We've been active with regards to Fulham," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"There is a firm and substantial bid on the table for Bobby Zamora.
"I'm waiting to hear from my chairman for the next step.
"There are substantial bids on the table for four players, one being Fraizer Campbell and the other being Bobby Zamora."
Hull have had a bid of around £6 million pounds accepted for Manchester United striker Campbell, who played a huge part in helping the club to promotion to the Premier League while on loan with the Tigers.
However, the England Under-21 international has stalled on deciding whether or not to make a permanent switch to Hull.
