Park Ji-Sung Seeking Contract Extension With Manchester United
The South Korean star is seeking a new deal at Old Trafford.
Park Ji-Sung is to begin negotiations for a contract extension with Manchester United.
The 28-year-old South Korean international's current deal expires in 2011, but he is keen for new terms. He is currently paid in the region of £55,000-60,000 per week.
Park has been at the club since 2005, racking up 85 appearances in that time. He is the first Asian to win the Champions League, although he played no part in the final, despite being one of the club's key players during the earlier stages.
A year later, he become the first Asian to participate in a Champions League final, but the match ended in defeat for United, as they went down 2-0 to Barcelona.
