Clarence Seedorf has been the first Milan player to be strongly linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer as a direct result of Carlo Ancelotti’s recent appointment at the club.
Seedorf endured an
inconsistent season with the Rossoneri in the Serie A, and therefore could be
enticed by a move to the London-based outfit.
According to the latest reports from Sussidiario.it, the Dutchman will speak
with his now former boss in the coming days to discuss a potential move to the
English Premier League.
The midfielder has been criticized and attacked by a significant portion of
the Milan tifosi throughout the campaign, due to his poor performances at times, so
the move may be a breath of fresh air for the aging star.
Blues defender Alex is
currently rumoured to be the man who could go the other way, in exchange for
Seedorf, if the deal is to go through.
