Manchester United are set to snatch up Royal Antwerp's highly promising teenage talent Charni Ekangamene, according to the latest reports from Belgium.
Antwerp is officially a feeder club for United and up until now the relationship has almost exclusively involved young Red Devils learning the trade at the Bosuilstadion, as was the case for the likes of John O'Shea and Darron Gibson.
Now, after impressing during a trial spell in Manchester, it looks like 15-year-old Ekangamene is set to buck the trend.
"He is a massive talent," commented Antwerp's youth co-ordinator, Alex Vervecken, on HNB.
"He is strong mentally and never shows any nerves."
Should reports that the youngster will sign for United on his 16th birthday prove true, the English champions will have used their official relationship with Antwerp to beat out the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Ajax.
