Ferguson Calm Over Tevez, Park and Neville
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has left little doubt as to his determination to keep Carlos Tevez, Gary Neville and Park Ji-sung at Old Trafford beyond the second half of the season.
Park Ji-Sung recently expressed concerned that talks over a new contract at Manchester United have yet to begin, Neville's deal is up in the summer, while Tevez has been tipped for an exit with increasing intensity since the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov.
Real Madrid and Inter Milan are among a number of clubs who have in recent months sought talks with Media Sports Investment (MSI), the firm which owns the Argentine star's rights.
"I have no idea about Tevez," Ferguson was quoted as saying on Sky Sports News.
"The contract is due to be the end of the season anyway but obviously we tried to bring it forward and we will keep trying to do that.
"But it is difficult with agents sometimes. All the managers signing players this January will experience that."
Regard Neville's situation, Sir Alex said: "I have not spoken to David (Gill) about it but I am sure there will be another contract because Gary has been back to his best.
"He is looking really good now and he did a crucial job for us when we brought him on against Middlesbrough last Monday.
"The experience he has is so important to us."
Finally, the United boss gave assurances that Park will be offered the new deal that he covets.
"It is not on the radar screen but he will be offered a contract," said Ferguson.
"Ji has been fantastic for us and is one of our most consistent players."
