Player Ratings: Liverpool 0-0 West Ham
A drab goal-less draw at Anfield can quite feasibly be summed up with motifs of clean intercepting, wayward shooting, and relentless calls for handballs.

Gerrard: 6.0 -
Not often you can say this about the Reds captain, but went for a ball and ended up lashing at air. Was ineffective in attack, made the occasion good run, and got himself into okay positions.
Alonso: 7.0 -
Gerrard tried to tee up the Spaniard who fired in a bullet-like shot that was wide of the marker. Tried a long shot that was tamely hit.
Riera: 6.5 -
Not as effective in the cross as he had been earlier in the season.
Kuyt: 7.5 -
Good effort. Dropped deep in order to make things happen for Keane who played further up field. Sent in dangerous box bound balls but all too often there would be no one on the end of them.
Keane: 5.5 -
Played a high line and was isolated. Spooned his shots and was replaced in the second half.

Is forming a good understanding with Upson, and stayed strong when N'gog came on with assured tackling and admirable blocking.

Average.

Rough play to begin with and was duly cautioned in the first half. Tried to test Riera.
Behrami: 5.0 -
Okay wideplay and won corners, but was hardly on the ball.
Bellamy: 7.5 -
His pace and creation posed numerous problems for his former side. The Welshman will be happy with his performance but may rue his missed chance.
