Going To Seed

UEFA revealed the seeds for qualifying for the 2012 Euro Championship, to be held in Poland and Ukraine. The draw will take place on February 7 next year in Warsaw. The usual favorites are in Pot 1, while Euro debutants Montenegro are in Pot 5, just above the continent's minnows.

Looking Good

Though things may not be the best right now, Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has said that his team have a lot to look forward to in the future. With some of his younger stars progressing nicely, the Spanish gaffer thinks that the sun will shine on Merseyside in the years to come.

Striker Search

Finding a worthwhile striker is sticky business. For Marcello Lippi, he may turn to one of the ancient duo of Alex Del Piero and Francisco Totti in the wake of his refusal to call up Antonio Cassano. Liverpool is busy scrounging through the bargain bin, and Raul might retire.

In And Out

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly going to return to training with Real Madrid on Friday after a lengthy injury layoff but will still not be available for Portugal on Wednesday. While Ronaldo is coming back it looks as though Fernando Torres may be out for Liverpool for the clash with Man City.

Right To Celebrate

Manchester City's mercurial forward Emmanuel Adebayor has stated that he has no regrets regarding his questionable celebration when he scored against his old team, Arsenal, earlier this season. His current team face the Gunners in League Cup action in early December.

Barcelona Barters

The triple isn't an easy feat, and Barcelona know that it takes work, and perhaps changes, to keep contending for the top titles. To that end, the club is said to be eying a number of potential moves to strengthen the squad that claimed unique glory last season.
