Senegal's Demba Ba: Success will come for us
The Newcastle United attacker believes that the Teranga Lions will soon taste victory at the 2012 Afcon in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea

Senegal striker Demba Ba is confident that the Teranga Lions will put their loss to Zambia out of their minds and make a success of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Lions are considered amongst the favorites to win the tournament, but they were surprised in a 2-1 defeat against the Chipolopolo on the opening day of the competition.
Despite the setback, the Newcastle attacker is certain that their second Group A game on Wednesday against co-hosts Equatorial Guinea will be an entirely different story.
"Success will come for us, of that I have no doubt," Ba told reporters at a training session in Bata, where the match will take place.
Much has been said about Senegal's impressive firepower up front, but the strikers were only able to score one goal against Zambia, and it was not enough to win the game. Ba was humble when he explained that in certain games things simply do not go the way a person wants them to, and no amount of effort can change that.
"Often, you can close your eyes, hit and score. Sometimes, you try every trick in the book but the ball refuses to go in," he said.
The Teranga Lions will take on the co-hosts, before ending the group stage with a game against Libya.
