After a hard fought game tonight in South Africa, Brazil managed to snatch a late victory over the hosts courtesy of a spectacular Dani Alves goal.
A few Bafana Bafana players made themselves available post-match and were full of drive and hope for the future of their squad.
"The next couple of months will be important for us, we need to keep this level of play and keep improving," Matthew Booth professed.
"We had a great deal me preparation before the Cup which helped us.
"Our strikers need to be more clinical up front, especially against the big teams. I was very happy for the US team, they gave us a big boost coming this match.
"The atmosphere in the stadiums has been great."
Aaron Mokoena couldn't hide his admiration for his opponents, coming across almost star-struck.
"The Brazilians are fantastic, they love playing football and it was great to play against them," said the Portsmouth defender.
"It is encouraging to play against these types of players. I am very proud of this team, most of the boys are young and there are people that did not believe in us, so we will take the positives and continue to grow."
"We have a great deal of work to do before the World Cup."
