Rivaldo Confident FC Bunyodkor Can Overcome Pohang
The Brazilian superstar has warned Pohang to expect a tough fight.
FC Bunyodkor star Rivaldo is confident that his side can overcome Pohang Steelers and progress to the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League.
Speaking after the draw for the quarter-finals, Rivaldo told the-AFC.com, "Pohang defeated Newcastle Jets with a big margin [6-0] but the Australians were not that strong compared to last year.
"This year, they finished last in their domestic league. The Koreans will have to take us seriously as we are six points clear in our domestic league standings.
"All the games will be tough at this stage of the AFC Champions League but despite all this, we must go through to the semi-final."
Bunyodkor are in red hot form with 13 consecutive victories in the Uzbek League, and Rivaldo is their leading scorer with 14 goals.
