thumbnail Hello,

The Boca boss affirmed that his team should have claimed maximum points in the derby.

Carlos Ischia, the coach of Boca Juniors, believes his team "should have won" the Superclasico, for having created "more opportunities" to score than River Plate.

"I always say that in these types of matches playing better doesn't mean anything, you have to win them. We came close, our rivals reacted with a free kick, and they drew level," said Ischia.

The coach denied claims that he was happy with the point, because he thought his team "should have won" and that they "came very close" to doing this, and that River didn't dominate them after their equalizer.

"I don't think it was a reaction from River. They barely attacked. They had a free kick and a shot from Falcao that went wide," he said.

Finally, Ischia stated that the match was very similar to the one Boca lost against Estudiantes de La Plata last week.

"The same thing happened like in La Plata. When Estudiantes scored they hadn't had a shot on goal, but when you have people who hit the ball well you have that advantage," he concluded.
