Despite the incident, the Internacional playmaker has been in good form since moving to Brazil, and because of this he has attracted the attention of several other top clubs from Europe and South America.
One club which are particularly interested in counting with his services next season are Club Atletico River Plate. D'Alessandro starred for the club during his time there, but believes it isn't the right time to return just now.
"I will always be obligated to listen to offers from River, but I don't want to return on loan. If I return, it is to stay and to try to win titles. I want to help them so they return to where they belong," said D'Alessandro.
Even if they are interested, it is almost impossible for River to offer the player a deal that will be of superior value to the one he has with Internacional, one of the most economically stable clubs in Brazil.
D'Alessandro's intention is to remain at Inter until the end of the Campeonato Brasileiro, and then he will begin to listen to offers from elsewhere. England could well be a future destination for the player.
