Bronzetti, who is also a consultant to AC Milan, often plays a major role in brokering transfer deals between Italian and Spanish clubs, and was heavily involved in Ronaldinho’s move from Barcelona to the Rossoneri.

Two more La Liga players who have recently been linked with a move to Serie A are Valencia duo Villa and Silva. However, Bronzetti believes there is no chance of either of the Euro 2008 winners ever arriving in the Italian championship.

"The Iberian players find it difficult to adapt to Italian football,” Bronzetti is quoted as saying by ANSA.

“There are many examples from the past. We can recall the cases of Farinos, Mendieta, and Jose Mari.

“I can say that Silva and Villa will never come to Italy."

It has been many years since a Spanish player really succeeded in Serie A, dating back to the 1960s when the legendary Luis Suarez starred for Inter, and Luis Del Sol played for Juventus.
